Being sick really sucks… but it has its advantages aswell.

As the headline says i have been sick for 2 days. I’m recovering so I am going to work tomorrow.
I really did not have time to get sick but I had my laptop at home so I could at least work on a presentation that I have to present on Tuesday. Its not really finish so I think that I’m going to have to take the laptop with me on the long weekend that is coming up.

So whats new you ask? ( well maybe not but you are reading this so you just have to listen to what i have to say. ) Since the last post I have decided to start playing guitar again. I did it when i was younger but stopped because of many different reasons. A dear friend of mine Jonas volunteered to get me started again. It helped alot because after like 4-5 years without holding a guitar you get kinda useless. He tought me some basics and of I went. I actually found a really good website as well. www.Ivideosong.com that has great tutorials for great songs. The goal is to be able to play a song really well till august.

Hmm not much has really happened lately. Alot of work and I have been at the country house to fix up a room for the summer. Magic wise is still going strong. I try to practise least once a day but I have so many other interests now that takes up my time.

A new add to the blogg.

Beside magic and snowboarding being my biggest passions in life I do have other hobbies, if you would call it that.
One beeing movies and the other beeing games, both on PC and on consoles.
And given my “expertise” in thees fields i though I would give it a shot and review some movies and games just for the fun of it.

At the moment i only play DotA ( Defence of the Ancient ) and that is because of many reasons. One of them being that its kinda the best game ever made and one of the other being that it takes around 1 hour to play. If you don’t know what DotA is then basically you suck and should be poked to death. Go to www.getdota.com and download it and just start playing.
You need to have WC3 with expansion but it will only cost you like 200 kr for both of them. Its cheap so you really don’t have
any excuses for not having it.
But enough about DotA ( IT RAWKS ), this time I am going to talk about Assassins Creed for XBOX 360.
I know its kind of an old game but it has its sunny moments and I did enjoy it. At least for the first half of the game.
Without further waiting here is the review.

Assassins Creed. XBOX 360.
The storyline of the game is that you are an great great great grandchild of an assassin. So some cool underground company have designed some sort of
machine that can reenter the state of your ancestors life, or something like that.
So ok… your great great great great and so on grandfather where an awesome assassin. Go gramps! He messes up an mission and
is demoted to n00b. This part really bugged me as hell. How can you go from being a super assasin to unlearning all your cool moves.
Thats just redundant but ok I´l buy it for this time. So to get back your cool moves and become awesome again you have to do some
killing. YAY! You are sent out for 5 missions in different towns to kill evil people. That’s basically the story line.

The graphics in this game is mind blowing. I mean really it can possibly be one of the coolest games I have ever played.
The movement of your character to the AI of the enemies are just darn beautiful. The fighting scenes are really enjoyable and the cities are really cool.

Ok now for some bad stuff, sorry there is some of it. The thing that made this game not being perfect is the fact that allthe missions are the same. You go to a town, spy on some people, get some info and then go kill the bad dude. Every single town is the same thing.
And you have to ride your horse to every town. In the beginning you where like really stealth and careful so that the road guards did not see you. But after 2 towns you kinda just ride like Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid and just don´t give a fuck.
The game overall is quite amusing but at the same time it gets kind of boring doing the same stuff over and over again.
Buy the game and enjoy the first half of it because it really is a great game. But lets hope that sometime in the future imagination will come to the creators of this beautiful game.

So yeah ok…. 1 week after new years I decided to quit my nicotine habit. Witch consisted of snus for the most parts. I did smoke on occasion but not that much. I held up for like 13-14 weeks and after that it kinda went downhill. I started to smoke again. And alot for that matter. So I have decided to quit smoking once again. 5/5 2008 will be the first day for the rest of my life. ( cheesy i know but what the heck )

The problem is that i get really sleepy when I don’t get my nicotine. That really sucks. But hey I can take some days of sleepiness for the sake of my health and my economy.

Walpurgis? Thats the translation for swedish holliday “Valborg”

I was kinda stunned that when i search for the translation for “Valborg” i came across that its called Walpurgis in English. Hmm ok never mind. Today is Walpurgis in Sweden and that means that its a half day at work and then a long weekend. So no work on Thursday and Friday. Yay?
Tonight im going to a friends house for alittle party in the company of some good friends.
There will be a theme to this party and its “Hats”. Think the evening will start out with some dinner with my dear friend Rasmus and later on go to this “hat-party”.

Don’t really know what else to say right now.

Ohh i almost forgot. Yesterday was the premiere for this years golf season for me. I played on a very beautiful course called Rotebros Golfklubb. It went really well considering that it was the first time i held my golfclubbs this year. A promise I have made to myself this year is to get out on the fairways more. I really enjoy playing golf and I really need to do it more often.

If anyone was wondering how nice the weather was in Val Thorens while i was there I will soon post some pics for your asses just to make you jealous.

Hello everyone!

Its has been a while since i last wrote. It is a number of things that has effected this outcome, but the bigger part of it is that I have had alot at work and I have been on vacation.
2 weeks ago i was in Val Thorens to vist one of my dearest frinds Jonas, who has been there for 5 months working as a waitor. The sun was shining on us for most parts but for 1 and a half day is snowed witch acually was in our favor. I had a great time and met some relly nice people and of course I did some magic aswell.

To make a short breif on where I am magic wise. I can say with ease that the passion has not deminished one bit. If anything it has grown in to kinda an obsession. All spare time I have alone I spend with cards and for some time now even coins. I went to Blackpool and visited the biggest magic convention on earth and I had a great time and go so much material that I can practise till then end of my life.

Also one of my friends is putitng up a magic show on Teater 3 ( www.teatertre.se ) this sunday. I will ofcourse be attending to support him. I encurage everyone that reads this and have time to visit this show. Its called “Dont do this at home Magic”. Im sure that its going to be a great show.

Well i have some things I need to attend now so il update soon again. And this time I will

Well another year has passed and what have we leard this year?

Well to be honest this has been one of the best years in my life. I have gotten a great job that i really like. I have found my biggest passion ( magic if you could not figure that out ). I have gotten some new friends this year that i would like to think is going to be my friends for a long time.

To starters i celebrated New Years at one of my friends place. It started out with a 3 dish dinner and ended witha big party. Around 26 people where attending. We had a great time and to say the least it was the best way ever to ring in the new year with some of my best friends. Not alot if magic did occure under the evening but there where some. And a really big note to self this year is to never try and do card magic when drinking. Remember that kids never drink and magic.

My new years resulution ( i know its kinda lame becuase no one ever keeps there new years resolution but i will try ) is to quit useing snus and ciggarets. Get in shape ( becuase i´m really close to being out of it ) and focus alot more of my energy to poker and card magic.

I hope that everyone had a great time during there hollidays and i wish you all a happy new year.

I have to brake my decision on only talking about magic.

Although i have said that i would only talk about magic on this blog i have to brake that decision and jus say whats on my mind. Here in Sweden it has been for a long time a discution about rape. First of all i have to point out that im absolutly not defending the people that rape girls,children, whoever. They are the lowest living piece of shit that walks on the place that we call earth. But there is a orginastion here in sweden that has been formed and its called okejsex.nu. If you go to their website you can read stories and see some fakes movies about rape. And the entire site is about the saying that “NO MEANS NO”. To me this is just common sence. I mean i would never rape a living soul. And I do know that a NO is a NO!.
The reason for me writing this post is that I think that people have to much time on their hands. To start an orginasation based on the moto that NO means NO, is just redundant in my opinion. Its just common sence and people that dont know thuis should be either shot or put away for life. What kind of mother and father have thees people had if they dont know right from wrong in such a simple question. I blame parents for not beeing there for their child and not beeing there to tell them what is right and what is wrong. If you dont have time to be with you kid that dont have a baby. I am all for abortion. Any fool can make a baby. Only a man creates one.
And do thees people at Okejsex.nu really think that a rapest will log on too their site and think,”OMG what im doing is wrong i have to stop right away”. Not in a million years. People have this wierd ideé that a simple thing as a website will acully make a differance. Words dont make a differance in thees sort of things. Actions make a differance.

Do something that really mathers instead. Go out and patrol at night if you think that would help. Spend time with you children, teach them the right from wrong and make them into a better person. Society is comming to and end as we speak if people can not sepperate right from wrong.

A little party and a little close-up.

I had a little party at my palce this weekend. Nothing big just about 10 people, some of wich i alredy know and some of wich i have never met. Good party alot of laughts and alot of drinks. During this party one of my friends asked me if I could show them some magic and of course beeing the magican that I am, I could not refuse. So i started of with some of my favorite close-up card tricks and after a while I had to go on to some of wich I dont really care so much about. But some of the reaction that i got was amazing. That just tells me that even the less great tricks really stunnes the spectator.

The day after was about cleining. Not my favorite thing in this world but it looked like there had been like a world war 3 there last night. Next time maybe i should make people take all their crap with them when they leave.
