I have to brake my decision on only talking about magic. November 29, 2007

Although i have said that i would only talk about magic on this blog i have to brake that decision and jus say whats on my mind. Here in Sweden it has been for a long time a discution about rape. First of all i have to point out that im absolutly not defending the people that rape girls,children, whoever. They are the lowest living piece of shit that walks on the place that we call earth. But there is a orginastion here in sweden that has been formed and its called okejsex.nu. If you go to their website you can read stories and see some fakes movies about rape. And the entire site is about the saying that “NO MEANS NO”. To me this is just common sence. I mean i would never rape a living soul. And I do know that a NO is a NO!.
The reason for me writing this post is that I think that people have to much time on their hands. To start an orginasation based on the moto that NO means NO, is just redundant in my opinion. Its just common sence and people that dont know thuis should be either shot or put away for life. What kind of mother and father have thees people had if they dont know right from wrong in such a simple question. I blame parents for not beeing there for their child and not beeing there to tell them what is right and what is wrong. If you dont have time to be with you kid that dont have a baby. I am all for abortion. Any fool can make a baby. Only a man creates one.
And do thees people at Okejsex.nu really think that a rapest will log on too their site and think,”OMG what im doing is wrong i have to stop right away”. Not in a million years. People have this wierd ideé that a simple thing as a website will acully make a differance. Words dont make a differance in thees sort of things. Actions make a differance.
Do something that really mathers instead. Go out and patrol at night if you think that would help. Spend time with you children, teach them the right from wrong and make them into a better person. Society is comming to and end as we speak if people can not sepperate right from wrong.

A little party and a little close-up. November 26, 2007

I had a little party at my palce this weekend. Nothing big just about 10 people, some of wich i alredy know and some of wich i have never met. Good party alot of laughts and alot of drinks. During this party one of my friends asked me if I could show them some magic and of course beeing the magican that I am, I could not refuse. So i started of with some of my favorite close-up card tricks and after a while I had to go on to some of wich I dont really care so much about. But some of the reaction that i got was amazing. That just tells me that even the less great tricks really stunnes the spectator.
The day after was about cleining. Not my favorite thing in this world but it looked like there had been like a world war 3 there last night. Next time maybe i should make people take all their crap with them when they leave.

All this talk about facebook, that they littely take away for choice of what you want too show and what not has made me come to a decision. This blogg would problably only contian stuff about my magic experiances. So from now on there will only be stuff here about magic. Hope you keep reading

Books.. hmm might be something for me afterall November 22, 2007

About 1 week ago i got my magic books I ordered. Ever since i started in magic i have bought dvds. I have always thought of me as more of an visual learner then a reading one. So the idea for me to buy book was just absured in the beginning. But with some presure from some of my magic friends i decided that i would get some of the classic ones. I went online and got Expert at the Card Table, Expert Card Tecniques and Royla Road to Card Magic. All great book acording to everyone i have talked to. I got the shippment and picked up Royal Road to start with. After reading about 25 pages i though, “WOW thees books really are great for learning”. I would have never thought of that books can become such a great resource to learning slights and tecniques. I have yet to finish the entire book all because of work and other stuff. But i really cant wait for getting in to Expert at the Card Table. It is suppouse to really good.
This new found fountain of knowledge will be a solid foundation in my search to become a great card magican.

I had the great plesure of seeing David Stone live at Magicweekend in Lund. He has become one of my absolute favorite magican. His way of performing magic is just brilliant. He is the kind of magican I am struggeling to be. I just his DVD Vol.1 and I just have to say. BRILLIANT. He give really good tips for when you are starting out in magic. What you should and should not do when you are doing restaurant magic / close-up magic. And the magic that you learn is just fantastic. I cant wait to start useing his magic.
The DVD gets a 5/5 from me. I encurage everyone that is in to magic to get David Stones DVD. You will learn so much.

Booked for Blackpool. November 8, 2007

A couple of days ago me and 2 of my friends (Jonas Haglund and Erik Jansson) booked our tickets to the 2008 Blackpool convention. Flight and hotell are all done. Now its just the convention pass that we have to book. But there is really no hurry to do that considering that the convention is in Febuary.
Im really looking forward to Blackpool. Its gonna be great meeting all the people i made friends with on MagicWeekend. But like I said, its a long way to go before its time to get on the plane for 3 days for magic.

Cruse with the boys. November 4, 2007

This weekend I was away on a cruse with some of my friends. We had a really good time. Alot of alcohol, maybe alittle to much, and alot of laughters. We parted from Stockholm Värtahamnen at around 18:45 and where not going to see land for about 24 hours later. We started with just instaling ourselfs in out cabbins and after that we went to the Taxfree shop to get some beer just to start the night out. After a pair of beers me and my friend Mike went to check the place out. Took 2 or 3 beers at the bar and watched the live band. A really good show.
The rest of the night is all kind of a blur. Note to self…. dont mix Beer and Spirits.
We had a good time overall… On the way home we took a cab and I must say, he was the worst driver that i ever seen. He really should not have a license to drive people. Other than that a really good weekend. I will post some pictures soon.

Got my shipment of new decks today. YAY! www.cards4magic.com best site ever if you want cards cheep and fast. Thank you Jonas Haglund for the tip. The only problem with the shipment was that i bought the wrong Alladin cards. Got the 1002 instead of the 1001. They are abit thicker and does not fan very well. Oh well can be cool to do magic with for some special event or something.
Tomorrow is just a halfday at work. Fantastic. Im thinking of taking it easy tomrrow night because like I said in my last post… im going on a cruise this weekend. And that is going to be tough enough.
